Look who's already 3 months old! Oh my I just can't believe I've been a mom to this precious little boy for 3 months. He is such a joyful and happy baby. We just love to make him smile and see his precious little dimple (right cheek, see solo bow tie pic). It's been so amazing to watch and be a part of a human being's development. When he was first born, all he did was eat, sleep, poop. He couldn't see very far, he wasn't aware of his surroundings, he didn't respond to my voice, he didn't smile on purpose, he couldn't grasp a toy or lift it to his mouth. And day by day, month by month, he has progressed in development. He can see my face from several feet away, he will smile at me from across the room when I talk to him, he grasps all sorts of things and waves them around, he is very intrigued by things like his hands and certain toys, he coos and communicates with us much more than when he was born. Soon enough he will be learning to use his arms and legs to start crawling, he'll get teeth, he'll talk, he'll walk. It is truly amazing how God created us. I just love being a part of this process and growth of God's child.
Some of Everett's favorites include:
-Sucking on his hands
-Smiling
-Kicking his hands and waving his arms
-Cooing "oooh" and making laughing like sounds when you talk to him
-Tracking his mommy and daddy with his eyes. (When we set him down in his crib or activity mat, he just follows us with his head and eyes. It's so precious)
-Eating
Some of Everett's least favorites include:
-Tummy time
-Playing by himself on his activity mat. (He is very aware when he is unattended and let's us know about it)
-Being hungry
Mommy and daddy love you so much Everett!
